When you use Daysim, you're trusting us with information about your career goals, your learning journey and how you interact with our simulations. We recognise that this information is personal, and we are committed to handling it responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your personal data.

By using Daysim, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Who we are

Daysim is a career simulation platform designed to help people prepare for new roles, build confidence and develop professional skills through immersive career simulations.

Daysim is operated by Full-Cognition Services Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria under company number RC 1628480, with its registered office at Lagos Island, Nigeria.

Full-Cognition Services Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal information under this policy.

Throughout this Privacy Policy, "Daysim", "we", "our" and "us" refer to the Daysim platform.

AI and how your inputs are handled

Daysim uses AI to generate your simulation scenarios and your readiness feedback. We currently use AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI, accessed through a service called OpenRouter, and we store their responses in our own database so that you can return to your reports.

Some of the AI processing behind Daysim currently runs on model routes where inputs may be used to improve AI models. Where this happens, your data is anonymised before any such use, and it is never tied to your identity. We treat everything you write during a simulation as sensitive.

What we mean by anonymised

We use the word anonymised carefully, because it is often used to mean less than it should.

When we say anonymised, we mean information that has been aggregated across many users, stripped of free text, and processed so that individual records cannot be reconstructed. Removing your name is not anonymisation, and we do not treat it as such.

A readiness report can describe a specific role at a specific kind of company in enough detail to point back to a person, even without a name attached. So our standard is not "we took the name off." It is that no single person's journey can be pulled back out of the data once it has been anonymised.

The same rights for everyone

Some companies give people in Europe strong data rights and everyone else weaker ones, because that is what the law requires.

We do not do that. Whether you are in Lagos, London, Germany, Accra or Los Angeles, you get the same rights: to see what we hold, to correct it, to take it with you, and to have it deleted.

What we do collect, plainly

We hold what you tell us about the role you are preparing for, the decisions you make during a simulation, your readiness score, and your report. We also collect ordinary technical information, like which browser you used.

We keep it to run the product and make it better for you.

A note on the free text:please do not include your employer's confidential information, or details you would not want stored. We treat everything you write as sensitive, but the safest data is the data that was never collected.

If we get it wrong

If we ever break one of these promises, we will tell you what happened, what we are doing about it, and what it means for you. We will not bury it in a policy update.

Depending on how you use Daysim, you may provide:

Please do not upload confidential employer information unless you have permission to do so.

How we use your information

AI and automated processing

AI-generated responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies or produce unexpected results. While we work continuously to improve the quality of our simulations, they should not be considered professional legal, financial, medical or employment advice.

Where possible, significant decisions should always be supported by your own judgement and, where appropriate, advice from qualified professionals.

Our approach to your data

We believe your personal information should be used to serve you, not exploit you.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

We do not use your personal information for unrelated advertising purposes.

Where we use trusted third-party service providers to help operate Daysim, they process information only on our behalf and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Sharing your information

We may share information with carefully selected service providers who help us operate Daysim.

These may include providers for:
